Our History

The Musical Comedy Guild was organized in June of 1962 with its first Executive being elected in September of that year.  President Mary Jamieson, along with music director Frank Elliot showcased its first season in 1963 consisting of a spring show “H.M.S. Pinafore” and a fall show “The Mikado”. All productions at that time were held in the Sault Collegiate high school’s Clayton Auditorium. Many venues were used over the next few decades but since 1991 all the main stage productions have been at the White Pines Community Theatre Centre.
