What’s in a Ticket?

Have you ever wondered what the cost of your ticket actually pays for?  Take a look at this chart to see how our budget is allocated.

All of the talent you see performing on the stage are volunteers who give freely of their time because they love what they do and are committed to developing a thriving performing arts community. The backstage crew also donate all of their time and effort.
Even with that huge volunteer resource, our production budget is large.
With the exception of the royalties, over 90% of money spent seeing a show is spent locally.

Our only sources of revenue are ticket sales, program advertising and any sponsors or patrons who generously offer support to the Musical Comedy Guild.
There are many levels of support – please consider becoming a friend, patron, benefactor or sponsor. Tax receipts are available.

We have to sell a lot of tickets to break even, and any profit goes directly into the start-up costs of our next show.

We thank you for supporting local community theatre.
